NOSS offers support to people who wish to participate in a range of daytime activities (Community Access Program) and also a supported employment program through Bluegum Grounds Maintenance, a community base workrew.

community access:

NOSS assists clients to pursue their chosen social, leisure, pre-vocational and vocational activities by providing support to access the community:
• Support is by way of one to one or paired support.
• Up to six hours of support are offered to community access clients each weekday, generally between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
• Support is charged at a daily rate.
• NOSS adheres to the State Disability Services Standards.
• Funding may be available through Disability Services, Department of Health and Human Services who can be contacted on (03) 6336 4130 or by visiting:

support staff:

NOSS currently employs approximately 35 part time support staff for up to 30 hours per week. Relief staff are also required.

Certificate 3 in Community Services - Disability Work is not a requirement but is highly recommended for those interested in working in the area.  Equivalent qualifications may be considered. All support staff are required to hold a manual drivers license.
