NOSS provides individual support for people with a disability to access various activities including swimming, personal shopping, dancing, educational courses, sailing etc. NOSS supports clients on a one to one or one to two staff client ratio.
All clients are offered assistance and support in the development of a Personal Plan which aims to promote social, physical, intellectual and emotional life skills. Personal Plans will be developed using information gained from all key stakeholders, including the client, family and other services. The Personal Plan will include strategies to achieve meaningful individual client goals.

New clients
Information about accessing NOSS is available in our Entry Policy. Funding may be available from the Department of Health and Human Services by applying to the Gateway on 1800 171 233. If you wish to apply for a place at NOSS, a Referral Form must be completed and submitted to the NOSS Office at 49 York Street, Launceston or faxed to 6334 4613.
NOSS' community access program is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services.
